Body Imaging
Emergency to Oncology.
Body imaging is the cross-sectional backbone of modern radiology. Our subspecialists interpret CT, MRI, PET/CT, and ultrasound studies of the abdomen, pelvis, and chest — diagnosing cancer, characterizing organ disease, and guiding the surgeons and oncologists who treat them. We bring fellowship training from Mayo Clinic, Emory, Duke, Northwestern, and other leading academic centers to bear on every read.
- Abdominal & pelvic CT and MRI
- Multiparametric prostate MRI
- Rectal cancer MRI staging
- Advanced liver and pancreas imaging
- PET/CT oncology imaging
- Renal mass characterization
Our Lady of the Lake — NAPRC-Accredited Rectal Cancer Care
Our Lady of the Lake Cancer Institute was Louisiana’s first health system accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer (NAPRC), a quality program of the American College of Surgeons. Our body imaging subspecialists serve as the imaging partner for OLOL’s rectal cancer program — performing high-resolution rectal MRI staging, treatment-response and surveillance imaging, and participating in OLOL’s biweekly multidisciplinary tumor board alongside the surgical, medical, and radiation oncology teams. Through this collaboration, patients across the Gulf South have access to the same standard of rectal cancer care as the nation’s leading academic centers.
