Rectal Cancer MRI Staging (National Accreditation)

Rectal Cancer MRI Staging (National Accreditation)

Rectal cancer occurs when cancer cells form in the last six inches of the colon. Both men and women can develop rectal cancer, however, men are at higher risk. Using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), we can directly image internal tissue. Using this imaging system, we can help medical and radiation oncologists initiate treatment and evaluate response.

Our rectal cancer staging program is recognized by the National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer (NAPRC) and includes a comprehensive diagnostic and treatment plan for patients with rectal cancer. At Radiology Associates, coordinating the best care for our patients is a priority. Early detection saves lives, so it’s never too soon to talk with your doctor about your risk of developing cancer.
